Limited call for proposals – food assistance from the French government
Dear colleagues and partners,
Twice a year, in January and in June, the French Embassy in South Sudan is launching a call for proposals on food assistance. In view of the next Interministerial Committee on Food Aid (CIAA in French – Comité Interministériel d’Aide Alimentaire) which will take place in January 2016 in Paris, we would like to invite you to submit new proposals for projects on food assistance.
General conditions of eligibility remain the same compared to June 2015 (see below attached pdf document). Please note that, in 2016, France has undertaken to strengthen significantly its interventions on nutrition and to agricultural production outlook.
A short concept note (5 pages maximum) needs to be submitted in FRENCH and should include the following elements: project description, information on beneficiaries (selection criteria), implementing methods, expected results and estimated budget.
Grants are expected to be between 250,000 and 300,000 EUR maximum.
Duration of the project: minimum 2 months and maximum 1 year.
Evaluation of applications and award:
Final selection at the Interministerial Committee on Food Aid will take place at the end of January 2016, for a funding in February/March 2016.
